Zion Canyon Day Tour from Las Vegas- Utah's oldest National Park

Why We Love this Tour

“Want to feel like you’ve traveled back in time millions of years, during a time that Dinosaurs roamed the earth? Visit Utah’s first national park and you will NOT be disappointed. When entering Zion your jaw will drop upon seeing the bright orange, pink, and red sandstone cliffs. Hike up to Angel’s landing and be rewarded with an incredible view of the park, or take the Watchman trail and commune with the Three Patriarchs. On hot days you can hike the Narrows to cool off and feel like you’re on a completely new world.”

Zion Canyon Day Tour

The incredible landscape of Zion is a magnificent display of beauty that is a perpetual source of inspiration and renewal for us all. Zion is a spiritual experience that will forever move you.

Zion National Park is a nature preserve distinguished by its stunning rock formations it’s multitude of colors and steep red cliffs. The canyon’s Scenic Drive cuts through its main section, leading to forest trails along the Virgin River. The river flows to the Emerald Pools, which have waterfalls as well as a wonderful hanging garden.

Zion is both the oldest park and the oldest National Park in Utah. It was opened 1919 and shows off the oldest geologic layers this side of the Grand Canyon (150 million years old). It’s also Utah’s most visited national park with more than 3 million visitors each year.

Zion means “the heavenly city” and although there are no churches in Zion Park, there is much to inspire reverence.

On this Zion Canyon Day Tour, you will visit Utah’s oldest National Park! Pick-ups from most Las Vegas Strip hotels between 6:00 – 7:00am.

In Zion Canyon

Drive east into southern Utah. After passing through Mormon towns such as Huricane and Virgin, we head up into Zion National Park. In the park you will continue along the Virgin River into the heart of the Zion Canyon. The towering sandstone cliffs of Zion Canyon are sure to impress. You’ll have plenty of time to hike and explore the beautiful multi-colored rock formations and serene pools along the river. At about 6:30pm, you will head back to the city and will be dropped off back at your Las Vegas hotel.
