Viva Las Vegas
Whether you’re traveling to Las Vegas for business or pleasure, Sin City will never disappoint you with an astounding variety of ways to keep yourself entertained!
Because of Vegas’ location in the middle of the desert, there are many amazing landscapes within easy driving distance: Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Bryce and Zion Canyons, Red Rocks, and many more can be seen on easy, comfortable day tours. From the lowest elevation salt-flats of Badwater Basin to the Hualapai Indian Reservations and spectacular Skywalk of the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, you can experience the history, geology, culture, and extreme beauty of this unique landscape.
For some added pizazz, maybe mix it up a little and see the views from above! Incredible Adventures offers a variety of helicopter and airplane tours over the Las Vegas Strip, or through the amazing Grand Canyon.
If you are looking for something more active, you can rent a kayak or hop in a raft and take a guided tour of Lake Mead and the Black Canyon (including amazing up-close views of the astounding Hoover Dam)!
For the most adventure, take some time for a road trip! We have several overnight hotel and camping tours from 3-7 days in length to gave you the full desert experience!
Located in the desert southwest, Las Vegas, Nevada, is one of the top tourist destinations in the world. It’s most well known for its casino-hotel resorts, a lively nightlife scene, and its close proximity to some of the desert’s most famous National Parks.
Las Vegas’ name comes from the Spanish word, “vegas”, which means meadows. It was named by Mexican explorers traveling through the area in 1829 who noticed big meadows in the area caused by wells. In the 1850s, Mormon missionaries were sent to the area to convert the Native Americans, but it was a brief mission only lasting a few years. With both railroad development and mine exploration happening rapidly in the area in the early 1900s, it was in 1911 that Las Vegas was formally established as a city.
Three significant events led to the rapid growth of Las Vegas and turned it into what it is today. First, the legalization of gambling in 1931 brought about the construction of massive casino hotels. Second, the completion of the Hoover Dam (30 miles away) in 1935 brought more tourism into the area from the newly created Lake Mead, a boating and water sports mecca in the desert. Third, nuclear atmospheric testing at a nearby test site in the 1950s brought in many government workers, researchers, and scientists to the area. In that same decade, the airport was set up for commerical use, the University of Nevada at Las Vegas was established, and the Las Vegas Convention Center was built.
Now Las Vegas is the 31st most populous city and one of the top destinations for conventions in the United States. It is located about 120 miles from stunning Death Valley National Park in California, about 270 miles to the beautiful Grand Canyon in Arizona, about 260 miles from Bryce Canyon in the southeastern corner of Utah, and 170 miles to Zion National Park, also in Utah.

Book This Tour Don’t Drive It“Awesome trip to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. Had Phillip pick us up and Marcus take us to both parks. Comfortable van, generous snacks , water, juice and box lunch, with several stops for bathroom breaks and souvenirs. Hiking and lots of opportunities for beautiful scenery photography. We originally were going to rent a car and drive it but after experiencing all the sites and in/outs of the parks we never could of done it on our own. Book tour and enjoy stress free!!”

The Grandest View“Awestruck, I tell ya! This park is immense. This park is incredibly beautiful. This park cannot be fairly reviewed on a blog. It is a must see. Bryce Canyon will be a different experience at sunrise, noon, sunset, and under the starry night. I cannot say enough about taking my teens to experience the beauty.”

Excellent Tour and Guide“We only had time to do one activity and this was an amazing tour. Peter was very knowledgeable and friendly, he went out of his way to make this a trip to remember. He gave us lots of time to spend in the beautiful areas where we stopped. We never felt rushed and had the opportunity to be in the moment and take in the beautiful scenery in the Valley of Fire. I highly recommend Peter and we will definitely request him for future tours.”

Fantastic Experience“We booked this trip before we left the UK and I am so glad we did. It was fantastic. I’m not keen on heights but the pilot made us feel so comfortable and safe I forgot about my fear and enjoyed the best experience of my life. Flying over the Hoover dam and then The Grand Canyon was totally exhilarating. We landed for champagne and nibbles and got to take lots of photos. Coming back my husband and I were up front. We flew up the strip at sunset…. What a sight. If you are worried about this trip but want to see all these amazing sights. Book you won’t regret it , this is a really professional company from the moment they pick you up at the hotel till they drop you back off they want you to have a great experience and they don’t disappoint.”

Highly Recommended“Awesome. we had a great time. beware that it can be a physically demanding tour. there are a lot of hikes, and moderate at 8000 ft means strenuous at sea level. but it was just incomparable. I would definitely recommend this tour!”

3 Hour Tour – Excellent!“We went on the 3 hour tour last week and enjoyed it immensely. The big powered raft was smooth with beautiful scenery, and as a bonus, provided close-up views of Hoover Dam that are stunning. The staff were all excellent and we got to see some big horn sheep too. As Las Vegas locals, we highly recommend this tour.”

Bryce & Zion Canyon Overnight Camping TourAfter doing two tours with this company, I can easily say this is the best tour company I’ve ever booked with. I did both a one day tour to Death Valley National Park, and a two day tour of Bryce Canyon National park and Zion National park. All three locations were amazing and we were given ample time at each. The tour guides, Jen and Vern, were both great, really knew their stuff, and were very passionate about their jobs. The small, talented staff and excellent communication make this one of the highest quality tour companies I’ve ever gone on a tour with. I would suggest anyone visiting Las Vegas to book as many tours with this company as possible.

Grand Canyon Overnight Camping TourThis tour was the best! Me and my friend did a Grand Canyon Overnight Tour for 2 days. It was amazing! We went there by a van, stopped at Hoover Dam on our way, stopped at Historic Route 66 on our way back, did a helicopter tour over the Canyon, and still had plenty of time to do walks around (and in) the Canyon. Our guide was awesome! During our long way to the South Rim he told us about Las Vegas, about Hoover Dam, lots of history and geology about the Canyon and how it was “made”, stories about wild animals. He knows a lot about South West and you can ask him anything. I learnt so much new. In the evening, we sat by fire near Grand Canyon, which was also a super nice experience with some beer, marshmallow cooking and ghost stories. It was so much fun. I would suggest this tour to anyone! It’s not just a very comfortable way to see great nature but also you will learn lots of things in a very interesting and funny way!

National Parks Mini-ExplorerI spent 3 of my best days in the US on that tour. Perfectly organized and guided by JD Boyle, it gives the opportunity to visit legendary places and really feel the desert. To see the moon rise and the night fall over Monument Valley and the first sun rays above the same rocks the next morning was a dream come true. Thanks JD! I hope to travel again with you some day 🙂

Best Tour Ever; An Unforgettable JourneyLast summer I booked a 3 day trip covering Zion, Bryce, Monument Valley, Horseshoe bend, Grand Canyon, departing and end at Vegas. After one year, I still think this is the best trip I ever booked from a tour company. I was extremely lucky to have Vern as our guide & lead (also driver), a guy with great personality, also so experienced and professional in organizing everything. We were able to be quite flexible in deciding how long we wanted to stay in each place, which hiking trek to take, etc. I enjoyed every hiking route Vern recommended! I was travelling solo and was a bit concerned if I would be totally comfortable in joining a group tour, but it proved my concern was nonsense. The others in the group were very easy going and we got along well. Every park has its own uniqueness and amazing views. I loved every place really. The highlight for me is Monument Valley, apart from the sunrise (we had a great camping spot for watching sunrise!) and the safari tour, the whole place just felt so spiritual (my very personal feeling). I never felt rushed or bored during the 3 days. Most of the time I even forgot I was travelling with a tour company, I felt I was just travelling with a group of friends. Arizona and Utah not only have unique nature landscapes but also interesting social and culture characters. I would love to highly recommend this tour to everyone. If I have the chance, I will do another one with this company!

The Tour Other Tours Wish They Could BeJust finished the 3day tour to bryce, zion, monument valley and grand canyon. So much fun! Excellent organisation, interesting facts, sites, and enthusiastic/experienced tour guides. If you’re concerned about camping, don’t be. You’ll regret staying in a hotel when you realise how awesome the campsite experiences and locations are! In three days we covered a lot but it’s so well organised it never felt rushed. I would recommend this tour to everyone, absolutely ace!

Unforgettable DayWe feel extremely lucky to have had such an amazing experience flying to the Grand Canyon. From the moment we were picked up from our hotel by our friendly and knowledgeable driver Fernando, through the check-in and safety briefing at the base and most importantly the during flight, the service was first class. I would like to make a special mention to Riley Ballard our pilot for the day who was superb! Great pilot, entertaining and very knowledgeable throughout the whole tour. Riley you’re a ROCKSTAR!! This day was a special day as I had the opportunity to propose to my girlfriend at the bottom of the Grand Canyon with champagne, she said “YES”! All of this would not have been possible without you all. Thanks for making it an unforgettable day.

Best Time EverMy wife and I went on the Wind Dancer flight this past Monday as a present for my wife’s 50th birthday and let me tell you, she and I had the best time ever. This may have very well been the coolest thing I ever did. She was afraid she would be nervous but not once did she get nervous. Our Pilot Jason was absolutely awesome and he looked to be having as much fun as us and that is really cool. Thank you very much for making my experience and my wife’s birthday a great time!

Favorite Part of my Trip
I live in DE and it was my first trip to Vegas. As much as I liked seeing the Casinos…my favorite part of my trip was the bus tour to the Hoover Dam. Our tour guide, Spencer, was wonderful. I truly loved all the info on Nevada he provided. He talked about employment, utility bills, cost of living, Nevada proving grounds, 5 types of rattlesnakes, 3 types of scorpions, the movie star homes, you name it. He was a pleasure to be around all day. Thanks for the great memories!

The tour guides are very informative, and they are very knowledgeable about the history of both the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. We Plan on Going Back Again
I highly recommend this tour for everyone. Our bus driver “J” was very informative and she kept us entertained the whole way…the skywalk was great and the views from Guano point are amazing and is also the best place to eat while you’re looking at the fantastic views of the Grand Canyon. We plan on going back again with this tour, hopefully we can also get “J” as a driver!

Highlight of our Trip
My wife and I have seen Wayne Brady, Phantom of the Opera and three different Cirque du Soleil productions. I golfed three different days while in Vegas, and we ate at some fabulous restaurants. While we enjoyed everything, we both agree the highlight of our trip was kayaking down Black Canyon with Desert Adventures. We look forward to booking with you again on our next trip to Vegas!

We are elderly (70’s) seasoned river/lake/white water kayakers from Upper Michigan. The day long guided trip in Black Canyon was well worth the money! Easy paddling with time to explore Sauna Cave, Mack’s Grotto, the falls and bask in the 100 degree comfortable heat soaking in the beauty of the Colorado and its ancient canyon banks. We sat in awe as fifteen big horn sheep showed themselves during the trip. One came down to the river for a drink within 10 feet of the kayak; three others within 20 feet put on a butting heads act for us. A great guide with a delightful sense of humor enriched the trip with history, geography, geology, and cultural lessons. Shuttle service to and from hotel, sturdy kayaks, attention to safety and even a souvenir water bottle all added up to top satisfaction!

Felt Like Friends Rather than Customers
I wanted to send a quick note to express my gratitude for the superb service of our tour guide driver James on the tour to The Grand Canyon. I took my mother on a post-mother’s day vacation to Las Vegas and I am so happy that I decided to use your company! James made the trip exciting. He was very knowledgeable about the city and was very entertaining the entire bus ride. He made everyone laugh. His warm, playful spirit was infectious and made all the passengers feel like we were friends rather than customers. We really had a great time and appreciate his excellent customer service! He made my mother very happy and she said “it was the best tour she’s ever been on!”. I will recommend your tours to all of my friends and family that are planning to visit Las Vegas! THANK YOU!
