As we tour over the rugged canyons of the Black Mountains and the Grand Wash Cliffs, the expansive views of the magnificent West Rim of the Grand Canyon will open in front of us. A visit to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon is one of the most popular ways to see the canyon from Las Vegas. From the West Rim on the Hualapai Nation, the Grand Canyon West Rim Tour gives our guests a great opportunity to experience Native Culture in addition to marveling at one of the Seven Wonders of the World. During the approximate four hours on the Hualapai Indian Nation, guests will be able to enjoy the natural environment, participate in some hiking, or even experience the world famous Grand Canyon Skywalk for an additional charge. Hiking trails include a short walk to Eagle Point and Guano Point overlooks. A visit to Hualapai Ranch during the tour is also included.

Sample Itinerary

Pick ups from most Las Vegas Strip hotels between 5:30 – 6:15am. The tour will conclude at approximately 7pm.

Hoover Dam

Your tour will begin with a photo stop of the Hoover Dam taken from the amazing O’Callaghan-Tillman Bridge, with enough time to enjoy the majesty of this engineering masterpiece, take some photos, then back on the road to the Grand Canyon.

Joshua Tree Forest

Listen to your friendly & knowledgeable guide offer expert narration as you travel through the ancient Joshua Tree Forest en route to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon for approximately 4 hours of sightseeing.

West Rim of the Grand Canyon

At the West Rim, visit Hualapai Indian Country and take advantage of the many photo opportunities with your hosts the Hualapai Indians. Explore the Indian village and the Hualapai Market. Visit the Hualapai Ranch and take in a Wild West Show with Old West gunfights! Dine at the newly opened Skywalk Cafe. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Grand Canyon from Guano Point and Eagle Point, where you can experience the latest attraction – the Grand Canyon Skywalk. Learn the history and geology of the canyon from our Indian guide. Meet Hualapai Indians in full tribal dress performing traditional dance.

Optional Skywalk Add-On

You can walk the Sky on the newly opened glass bridge over 4,000 feet above the canyon floor. See the Grand Canyon West Rim as never seen before with a complete 360˚ panoramic view of the Grand Canyon West Rim. Tickets are $35.00 additional per person. Approx. 10-15 min. walk on Skywalk.

Skywalk Tickets

You can add tickets to the Skywalk to your tour*!

The Grand Canyon Skywalk extends 65 feet (20 meters) over the edge of the Grand Canyon’s West Rim. Located at Eagle Point on the Hualapai Indian tribal lands, the Skywalk soars 4000 feet (1200 meters) above the canyon floor. This engineering marvel provides the vistor with a genuine bird’s-eye view of the Grand Canyon.

The glass floor is designed to support the weight of nearly 800 people, 100 mph winds, and major earthquakes. Visitors are given shoe covers to prevent the highly polished glass floor from being scratched.

For only $35 you can walk over the edge of the Grand Canyon to experience this unforgettable view! To add the Grand Canyon Skywalk to your West Rim tour, simply choose the Skywalk option as an add-on during checkout.

West Rim Helicopter Tour

You can add tickets to fly above the West Rim to your tour*!

Take a 10 minute descent by helicopter from the West Rim to an exclusive landing site on the banks of the mighty Colorado River. Enjoy a 20 minute scenic photo stop in the bottom of the Grand Canyon before your return flight to the rim. This experience is an additional $179 for all ages and is not included in the base tour price.

If you want to take the helicopter AND see the Skywalk, you can add both and save a little cash! This package is $221 for all ages and is not included in the base tour price.
