“The Grand Canyon South Rim has a special place in my heart. There are amazing hiking trails for all levels of hikers and great rangers talks. This is a great park to see the critically endangered California Condor, as well as Elk and Big Horned Sheep. There’s definitely something for everyone at the Grand Canyon.”
**Sample Itineraries: Please note that due to conditions outside of our control (special events, traffic), it is sometimes necessary to alter your itinerary to best suit the needs of the group. While we guarantee that we’ll do our best to provide you with all of the highlights within this itinerary (conditions permitting), we do not guarantee them in this specific order. **
Next, we drive through various desert ecosystems en route to the Grand Canyon, passing the extinct volcano “Fortification Hill.”
Before entering the park, you will stop at the National Geographic Visitor’s Center for lunch (included), where you can choose to watch the IMAX Grand Canyon Discovery & Adventure movie or sign up for a flight-seeing trip over the Grand Canyon (both optional, additional cost).
Continuing on through Arizona, we arrive at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. This tour has photo stops at the widest and deepest points of the South Rim (21 miles across, 8400 feet deep). You will have ample time to take photographs and admire the amazing vistas and rock formations that make the Grand Canyon so impressive.
