Alcatraz is a must-see for any traveler visiting San Francisco. On this tour, you’ll take the hybrid ferry out to the world-famous island, with amazing views of the San Francisco skyline, Golden Gate Bridge, and Angel Island.
Upon arrival, you’ll learn a brief history of “The Rock” and then head up to the prison. You’ll be equipped with an audio tour titled “Doing Time”, in which you’ll hear interviews from former inmates and learn more about Alcatraz’s history. You may explore for as long as you want! The ferry departs for the mainland approximately every 30 to 40 minutes.
