Meet Ava, our Operations Manager. Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Ava developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors from a young age. Before relocating to San Francisco, she lived in Arizona, Spain, and Italy, and has since led extensive expeditions throughout Latin America.
Ava’s professional background is as diverse as her passport. She has managed international youth travel programs, conducted human migration research, and specialized in human resources and talent development. Her eclectic resume even includes stints as a soccer referee, a zoo employee, and a classical music teacher, truly living by the adage that “variety is the spice of life.”
Ava is a natural fit for Incredible Adventures because she finds genuine joy in the logistics of travel and the rewards of the outdoor industry. She considers it a privilege to help facilitate guests’ adventures and firmly believes that every day spent outside is a good one.
When she’s not streamlining our operations, you can find Ava at the pottery wheel, backpacking a new trail, or swimming. She also plays the viola in a local community orchestra and, unsurprisingly, is always planning her next trip.
