Tour Guide

Mitch Brown’s early life was marked by frequent moves, fostering a deep-seated love for travel. Born in Duluth, Minnesota, he spent his formative years in Two Harbors, along the picturesque shores of Lake Superior. At the age of eight, his family relocated to Ontario, Canada, where he lived in Haliburton and Newmarket for seven years before returning to the United States. Subsequent moves to Michigan and Massachusetts further instilled in him a nomadic spirit. Extended road trips to visit family scattered across the country only fueled his passion for exploration.

In 1991, Mitch embarked on a career in adventure tourism, working for a tour company until 2002. This period allowed him to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and explore renowned national parks throughout the United States and Canada. He developed a fondness for activities like hiking, rafting, biking, horseback riding, and wine tasting.

Seeking to escape the harsh Minnesota winters, Mitch moved to San Francisco in 2004. He now dedicates his time to leading tours to the scenic wine regions of Sonoma and Napa, as well as the majestic Yosemite National Park, throughout the year. He cherishes his life in San Francisco, enjoying leisurely walks and sharing his favorite local restaurants, pubs, and bars with visitors.

Recently, Mitch fulfilled a long-held desire to visit Australia, and he eagerly anticipates future trips to Perth, Western Australia, and Tasmania. He finds immense joy in connecting with his tour participants and ensuring they have an unforgettable adventure, creating lasting memories of their time in San Francisco.
