Enjoy a Grand Canyon tour from Las Vegas with Incredible Adventures!

We offer trips to different areas of the Grand Canyon, each providing distinct experiences.

Our Grand Canyon West Rim Tours visit the tribal lands of the Hualapai Indians. Here you can also enjoy the Grand Canyon Skywalk: a glass U-shaped bridge hanging over the precipitous canyon below! Whether traveling to the rim by air or ground, you will be treated to live-action cowboy and Indian dance performances, and will get to see some of the rich history of this area of the desert.

The Grand Canyon South Rim is a more rustic option. Enjoy the breathtaking views from Bright Angel Lodge, and experience some of the most unbelievable vistas to be found in the United States. You can even take a helicopter INTO the canyon! This is the most popular Grand Canyon destination, and when you visit you will understand why.

With so many tour options, we’re sure to have a Grand Canyon trip for you!

The Grand Canyon is located in the northwestern corner of Arizona. It is over a mile deep, up to 18 miles wide at one point, about 277 miles long, and it is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

The Canyon has been forming for over forty million years as the mighty Colorado River has cut through the layers of rock whilst the Colorado Plateau has gone through uplift and erosion, creating the stunning canyon that is seen today. Over 2 billion years of geological history is exposed, and the canyon supports a great variety of ecosystems that range in climate and flora/fauna from the Colorado River on the bottom up to the surrounding forests at the rims of the canyon.

For thousands of years, well before Spanish explorers set sight on the canyon, the Native Americans have been living and settling in and around the Canyon. Today, the current tribes living in and managing some of the land surrounding the National Park include the Hualapai, the Havasupai, the Paiutes, and the Navajo.

The first Spanish explorers sighted the Canyon in 1540, but it wasn’t until the 1850s, that several expeditions were led into the canyon to explore the area and establish navigable river crossings. In 1869, Major John Wesley Powell led his first boat expedition starting in Green River, Wyoming, continuing to the confluence with the Colorado River near Moab, Utah, and finishing with passage through the Grand Canyon. It was General Powell who first started calling the canyon, “the Grand Canyon”, instead of the “Big Canyon” as it was still known at that time.

The Grand Canyon was first federally protected as a Forest Reserve in 1893, and in 1908, U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt established the area and surrounding forest lands as a National Monument. Finally in 1919, it gained National Park status. Now, the Park receives close to 5 million visitors each year.

There are many ways to enjoy the beauty of the Grand Canyon. A simple walk along the South Rim, a hike down into the Canyon, a stay at the bottom next to the Colorado River, a float ride on the river, or a helicopter flight above. All provide a unique perspective on one of the most stunning natural wonders of the world.
