Silicon Valley Tech Tour plus Alcatraz Night Tour from SF

Why We Love this Tour

“I didn’t realize how much I already knew about computers until I went to the Computer History Museum. It’s full of so many treasures and it’s fairly interactive considering how many visitors they have. The highlight – aside from getting the Facebook sign selfie – was meeting the creators of the 1st video game and sitting in the driverless Google car. Definitely worth the trip!”

Silicon Valley + Alcatraz Night Tour

Alcatraz Island is the #1 attraction in San Francisco, and you can see more on this exclusive NIGHT tour of The Rock! Make your way to Fisherman’s Wharf on day 1 where you can pick up your tickets for your Alcatraz Night Tour. This tour gives access to parts of the island that are not available during the day.

The next morning, get ready to see where it all began! An Incredible Adventures guide will take you back in time and drive you into the future on this educational tech tour of Silicon Valley.

We’ll start the day with a visit to the Computer History Museum: see some of the first mega-computers and commercially-produced machines, as well as classics like Pac Man and Atari to stir up some childhood memories. We’ll visit the Google Campus/gift shop and check-in at Facebook, and head over to the newly-built Apple visitor’s center for an interactive exhibit of the new campus, and opportunity to test out the newest gadgets.

Alcatraz is a must-see for any traveler visiting San Francisco.

You’ll take the ferry out to the island, with amazing views of the San Francisco skyline, Golden Gate Bridge, and Angel Island.

Upon arrival, you’ll learn a brief history of “The Rock” and then head up to the prison. You’ll be equipped with an audio tour titled “Doing Time”, in which you’ll hear interviews from former inmates and learn more history about Alcatraz. You may explore for as long as you want (the ferry departs for the mainland approximately every 30-40 minutes).

The tour generally takes people about two and a half hours. Don’t forget your jacket – it can get chilly out on the bay!

Alcatraz Info:

  • For security purposes, a government-issued photo ID is required for all guests to board the Alcatraz ferry
  • Alcatraz audio tour is available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Mandarin, Portuguese and Korean

You will need a valid ID and your paid voucher to pick up the tickets.
