Up next, you’ll cross into Oregon, where you’ll gaze at the crystal clear blue waters of Crater Lake National Park before heading to the Northwest’s adventure capital, Bend. Two fun-fueled days await you in Bend! Whether you’re into rafting, biking, hiking or horseback riding, Bend has you covered!. Next, you’re off to the state’s largest city and the world’s hipster mecca, Portland, where you can stroll through massive bookstores and get your sugar fix at the world famous Voodoo Doughnuts.
Finally, we’re off to the heart of the cornerstone of the Pacific Northwest, Washington state, where you’ll visit the exquisite Mount Rainier National Park before heading toward our final stop, the Emerald City herself, Seattle.

San Francisco to Northern California Coast
|7:30am:||7:30 a.m. pick up from San Francisco Hilton Hotel (Mason Street entrance)
After departing, you’ll head over the amazing Golden Gate Bridge, get a final view of San Francisco, before heading north and away from The City. Soon you’ll be hugging the beautiful Northern California coast where you’ll end your first day on the road watching the sunset over the Pacific Ocean!
Sample Itinerary – Day 2
Northern California Coast to Grants Pass, OR (via Redwoods National Park)
|All Day:||There’s a lot of ground to cover today, so you’ll get an early start. Get up close and personal with the beautiful and stately coastal redwoods of Redwoods National Park. Some of these amazingly ancient trees top out out 300 feet (about 90 meters)! Our hike today will take us from the redwoods to the coast and back before you head toward our night stop, Grants Pass. Get ready, you’re headed to amazing Crater Lake tomorrow!|

Grants Pass OR to Bend OR (via Crater Lake National Park)
|All Day:||You’ll begin day three with a visit to Oregon’s only national park, the majestic Crater Lake. At 1,943 feet deep, the deepest lake in the United States, the topaz blue waters of this 7,000 year old alpine lake are sure to amaze. After a stroll around the crater, you’ll get back on the road and head for what’s hands down the outdoor activity capitol of the west, the little city of Bend. Interested in mountain biking, hiking or just soaking up the awesome views around town? Not to worry, Bend’s got you covered.|

FREE DAY in Bend, OR
|All Day:||If you’re looking for adventure, look no further than Bend. From whitewater rafting to horseback riding, Bend is home to it all. Want adventures closer to the ground? Then join your guide on an epic hike in the nearby Deschutes National Forest. This afternoon, why not walk the famous Bend Ale Trail and visit one of the many breweries operating in the city. There are a lot to choose from – Bend boasts more breweries per person than any other city in the US! Tonight, join your fellow travellers for dinner, where you’ll exchange adventure stories and toast to your last night in Bend.|
Sample Itinerary – Day 5
Bend, OR to Portland, OR
|All Day:||This morning, we’re heading from the small and tranquil city of Bend to the bustling hub of Portland. Located on the mighty Columbia River, the city of Portland is also known as The Rose City, a name it’s held since 1888 to celebrate the planting of miles of rose bushes across the city. Portland boasts the impressive and voluminous Powell’s City of Books, which takes up an entire city block of downtown Portland. After browsing through the stacks, head over (and wait in line) to the world famous Voodoo Doughnuts and select from more than 50 different mild-to-wild varieties!|
Sample Itinerary – Day 6
Portland, OR to Seattle, WA (via Mt Rainier National Park)
|All Day:||You’ll get on the road early on your final day of the tour and cross the Columbia River into Washington state. Before you know it, you’ll be gazing at the snow capped peak of Mount Rainier. At 14,411 feet, Rainier is the fifth largest peak in the lower 48 and the highest on the west coast! After a moderate hike to catch some more of the amazing views of this impressive giant, you’ll head back down toward sea level and the Emerald City, Seattle.|
Note: No time is spent in Seattle on this tour, but the arrival hotel is located near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and has easy transit connections to downtown Seattle.
