One look at Bryce Canyon National Park and you’ll feel like you just stepped onto Mars! Take a day tour to Bryce Canyon, or explore it alongside Zion National Park. If you want more time, Stay Overnight!
Bryce Canyon is located in southwestern Utah. It not actually a canyon, but a series of natural amphitheaters and colorful hoodoos (tall pillars of rock) all formed by the powerful forces of wind, water, and ice erosion over millions of years.
Like most of the surrounding National Parks in the desert southwest, there is archaeological evidence that Native American tribes had been living in the area for over 10,000 years. The most recent being the Paiutes, who later moved out when overgrazing by the earlier settlers became a problem. Today, there are no Native Americans living in the Bryce Canyon area.
The first European Americans to settle in the area were sent by the Mormon church in the 1850s. One of those settlers was Ebenezer Bryce who grazed his cattle and grew crops right inside what is today’s current park borders. The area became known as “Bryce’s canyon” and the name stuck when the area later became federally protected.
By the early 1920s, the Bryce Canyon area was becoming a nationally recognized tourist destination. Increased visitation combined with unregulated grazing and logging still occurring started the movement to protect the area, and in 1923, President Warren G. Harding declared Bryce Canyon a National Monument. Five years later, in 1928, Bryce was upgraded to a National Park.
Book This Tour Don’t Drive It“Awesome trip to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. Had Phillip pick us up and Marcus take us to both parks. Comfortable van, generous snacks , water, juice and box lunch, with several stops for bathroom breaks and souvenirs. Hiking and lots of opportunities for beautiful scenery photography. We originally were going to rent a car and drive it but after experiencing all the sites and in/outs of the parks we never could of done it on our own. Book tour and enjoy stress free!!”

The Grandest View“Awestruck, I tell ya! This park is immense. This park is incredibly beautiful. This park cannot be fairly reviewed on a blog. It is a must see. Bryce Canyon will be a different experience at sunrise, noon, sunset, and under the starry night. I cannot say enough about taking my teens to experience the beauty.”

Highly Recommended“Awesome. we had a great time. beware that it can be a physically demanding tour. there are a lot of hikes, and moderate at 8000 ft means strenuous at sea level. but it was just incomparable. I would definitely recommend this tour!”

Bryce & Zion Canyon Overnight Camping TourAfter doing two tours with this company, I can easily say this is the best tour company I’ve ever booked with. I did both a one day tour to Death Valley National Park, and a two day tour of Bryce Canyon National park and Zion National park. All three locations were amazing and we were given ample time at each. The tour guides, Jen and Vern, were both great, really knew their stuff, and were very passionate about their jobs. The small, talented staff and excellent communication make this one of the highest quality tour companies I’ve ever gone on a tour with. I would suggest anyone visiting Las Vegas to book as many tours with this company as possible.

National Parks Mini-ExplorerI spent 3 of my best days in the US on that tour. Perfectly organized and guided by JD Boyle, it gives the opportunity to visit legendary places and really feel the desert. To see the moon rise and the night fall over Monument Valley and the first sun rays above the same rocks the next morning was a dream come true. Thanks JD! I hope to travel again with you some day 🙂

Best Tour Ever; An Unforgettable JourneyLast summer I booked a 3 day trip covering Zion, Bryce, Monument Valley, Horseshoe bend, Grand Canyon, departing and end at Vegas. After one year, I still think this is the best trip I ever booked from a tour company. I was extremely lucky to have Vern as our guide & lead (also driver), a guy with great personality, also so experienced and professional in organizing everything. We were able to be quite flexible in deciding how long we wanted to stay in each place, which hiking trek to take, etc. I enjoyed every hiking route Vern recommended! I was travelling solo and was a bit concerned if I would be totally comfortable in joining a group tour, but it proved my concern was nonsense. The others in the group were very easy going and we got along well. Every park has its own uniqueness and amazing views. I loved every place really. The highlight for me is Monument Valley, apart from the sunrise (we had a great camping spot for watching sunrise!) and the safari tour, the whole place just felt so spiritual (my very personal feeling). I never felt rushed or bored during the 3 days. Most of the time I even forgot I was travelling with a tour company, I felt I was just travelling with a group of friends. Arizona and Utah not only have unique nature landscapes but also interesting social and culture characters. I would love to highly recommend this tour to everyone. If I have the chance, I will do another one with this company!

The Tour Other Tours Wish They Could BeJust finished the 3day tour to bryce, zion, monument valley and grand canyon. So much fun! Excellent organisation, interesting facts, sites, and enthusiastic/experienced tour guides. If you’re concerned about camping, don’t be. You’ll regret staying in a hotel when you realise how awesome the campsite experiences and locations are! In three days we covered a lot but it’s so well organised it never felt rushed. I would recommend this tour to everyone, absolutely ace!
