Wander through the ancient groves of coastal redwoods in Muir Woods National Monument. Muir Woods is an example of an old-growth redwood forest located only about 30 minutes from downtown San Francisco. You will have an hour and a half to roam through this ‘living museum’ where you can get a glimpse of the towering trees that used to dominate the west coast from Santa Barbara to Washington.
After exploring Muir Woods you will get a 15-20 minute narrated tour past iconic San Francisco viewpoints, including a picture-perfect view of the Golden Gate Bridge, before returning to the city across the Golden Gate Bridge.

Your professional local guide will take you along the famous Fisherman’s Wharf, through the gorgeous parks of the presidio, and across the famed Golden Gate Bridge, pointing out the best vista points and sharing some amazing stories of San Francisco’s history along the way. Don’t forget to take lots of pictures! Once you reach Sausalito, be sure to grab some delicious food downtown before departing on a ferry across the bay, and back to your bike return station at Fisherman’s Wharf. This is a must-do bucket list item for anyone visiting San Francisco!
ABOUT YOUR KAYAKING TOUR
Start from the kayak center, which is about 1.2 miles from the Sausalito Ferry Terminal, everyone gets equipped with life jackets, paddles, and stable double kayaks. After some basic instruction, set out along the famous Sausalito waterfront. Keep your eyes peeled for Harbor seals and sea lions, and enjoy the sight of birds overhead, including pelicans and cormorants. Also paddle by the eclectic houseboat community, where many people make their home on the water. After traveling down the waterfront, on the return to land, enjoy views of the San Francisco skyline.

Will see the mechanics maintaining their fleet of electric bicycles and scooters and learn how they are contributing to making our city greener. Collectively Scoot has accumulated over 1,000,000 miles of riding and recently expanded to Barcelona.
