We design and facilitate custom backpacking tours to Yosemite National Park. You choose the itinerary, the duration and the difficulty level to suit your group or organization.
Hike into the Yosemite Valley, raft the mighty Merced River or explore the more remote Yosemite backcountry, the adventure is yours in the making.
We have over 15 years of experience guiding in the Yosemite area so let us arange your Yosemite backpacking adventure.
Gear
The success and safety of a backpacking tour depends on the quality of your gear. Proper equipment can make the difference between a life-long memory and a life-threatening disaster. We can provide you with the gear necessary to have the experience of a lifetime and our seasoned guides will ensure the utmost safety.
Food
We provide the food, cooking equipment and fuel. All of which is distributed between the participants to help shoulder the burden.
Transportation
We use 15 passenger vans with air conditioning and stereo to get you to the trailhead comfortably. Our vehicles are fueled by Biodiesel, a vegetable oil-based diesel fuel, to promote sustainable "green" tourism.
Weather
Weather in the Sierra Nevada Mountains can be unpredictable. June through September is usually hot and sunny with May and October days being warm with cooler nights. A summertime snow shower is also a possibility. We will provide you with a gearlist appropriate for your particular tour.
