Please make sure to write your date & time request in the “notes” section of your booking, and a member of our sales team will be in touch to clarify available cruise times and confirm your tickets.

- Mar 11-Oct 21: 8:45am-3:50pm Daily
- Oct 22-Mar 10: 8:45am-1:55pm Daily

Night Tours: Alcatraz Island and the San Francisco Bay are amazing at night! However, because of the limited departure times and high demand, these tickets are tough to get. Make sure you reserve your night tour tickets FAR in advance of your trip to San Francisco to guarantee your spot.

Frequently Asked Questions

What languages is the Audio Tour offered in?
The Cellhouse Audio Tour is available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Mandarin, Portuguese and Korean.
What makes the Hornblower Hybrid “green”?
As the nation’s first hybrid ferry, the eco friendly vessel is powered largely by solar panels, wind turbines, and grid electricity. Carpet, countertops, and fixtures incorporate recycled and sustainable materials.
Will I get seasick?
Probably not. The ferry is large and stable enough that most people are not affected. If you are very susceptible, you may want to get a patch or seasick pills.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably and be sure to bring extra layers, the bay can be very windy!
How far in advance should I book?
We strongly recommend you purchase tickets in advance as cruises often sell out quickly. In the mid-summertime, tours are sometimes sold out months in advance. Don’t get stuck without tickets!
