Incredible Adventures is a sustainable travel leader, providing regional tours to majestic destinations including Yosemite National Park, Muir Woods National Monument and the world renowned Sonoma/Napa Wine Country. Incredible Adventures has pioneered the entry of alternative fuels into tourism with its use of 100% Biodiesel (B100). Having logged over 2 million miles in the last 4 years, Incredible Adventures has had a significant impact on the growth of the Biofuels industry, while supporting the nation’s goal of oil independence.
We are currently looking to fill the position of Fleet Coordinator at our office in San Francisco. The Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for all duties related to the safe, legal, and smooth operation of Incredible Adventures vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

·  Monitor all Incredible Adventures vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal functioning of tours and operations.

·  Coordinate and/or perform all vehicle and equipment maintenance

·  Ensure compliance of all vehicles with state and federal regulations

·  Coordinate and/or perform all duties related to rescues in the event of vehicle breakdowns

·  Check all vehicles and equipment in and/or out prior to morning trip departures

·  Provide driver/guide training for vehicle and equipment usage

·  Contribute to a calm, clean, efficient, and positive work environment

       
QUALIFICATIONS:
General automotive knowledge
Previous experience working with commercial vehicles/fleets a plus
Strong organization and planning ability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High motivation and attention to detail
Ability to obtain a Class B Commercial License with Passenger Endorsement (applicants must be 23 years of age or older to comply with insurance requirements)

COMPENSATION: $15/hr
This is a 20 hr/week part-time position that will require at least 1 weekend day. Each shift is scheduled from 5:00am to 9:00am.

The San Francisco office is currently seeking an Operations Assistant. Operations Assistant reports to the General Manager and assists with supervision of CSRs, Guides and the fleet.  Responsible for assisting with everything related to operation of trips. Work week will include a combination of office shifts, guiding trips and checking out the fleet in the early morning on days the Fleet Coordinator is off.  May have Manager on Duty shifts.


QUALIFICATIONS: Must have or be able to obtain a California Commercial Driver’s License Class B with passenger endorsements. Must be detail oriented, have the ability to strategize, and be computer savvy, including but not limited to Word, Excel, internet and Google Docs. Must have previous manager/supervisor experience to supervise guides and office staff, excellent customer service, be a self-starter and have the ability to plan and organize logistics of trips/charters. Guiding experience is a must!


HOURS: 40 per week; Schedule: Friday through Tuesday


COMPENSATION: $30,000/yr starting

Incredible Adventures is a small, environmentally-conscious tour company that offers small group tours by biodiesel van out to Yosemite National Park and Sonoma Wine Country. We are currently seeking a part- or full-time (3-5 8-hour shifts per week) Customer Service Representative to join our reservations and operations team.

We are a liberal-minded group who thrive on being in a casual and laid back work place that offsets our challenging and dynamic jobs.

Our office is open from 6:00am-9:00pm every day of the week. There are 2 CSR shifts per day that cover morning dispatch from 5:45am-1:45pm and nightly trip preparation from 1:00pm-9:00pm. We are looking for a CSR who will commit to working a combination of early and late shifts, including at least 1 weekend shift.

QUALIFICATIONS: Pleasant and efficient phone manner. Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks during a shift. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to problem-solve and confidence and ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on time-sensitive issues. Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Positive, can-do attitude. Enthusiasm and energy. A clean driving record, be at least 23 years old, and the ability to obtain a California Commercial Driver's License with Passenger endorsements (Class B with P endorsements).

JOB DESCRIPTION: Customer Service Representatives are responsible for answering phone calls and taking phone reservations for all of our sightseeing and camping trips, for taking email reservations and confirming online reservations, for responding to email inquiries, for charging credit cards, communicating with guides during their trips, preparing trips for the next day, for fueling vans upon return from trips, for keeping track of space availability, for taking phone messages, and for assisting with general office duties (filing, straightening up at closing).

Seasonal Guide/Driver Position Part and Full-Time (posted 3/18/2013)

About Us: We are hiring guides for our Yosemite 1 day tour and the 3 day camping tours. Guides lead the trip as well as drive our 15-passenger Biodiesel-fueled vans, pick up passengers at San Francisco hotels, provide informational narrative during the trip and in Yosemite, collect payment, communicate with office throughout the day as necessary, conduct a guided tour in Yosemite, then offer suggestions and directions for clients’ free time in Yosemite Valley, drive back to SF and drop off at hotels.

What are we looking for? Incredible Adventures is looking for reliable and organized individuals with a desire for adventure. Guides should have customer-service oriented disposition, a fun and outgoing attitude, and enjoy interacting with people from all over the country and the world. Experience is a plus, but not required.
The individual will need experience with camping etiquette, cooking skills, and the ability to engage clients by participating in camp activities and chores.  This individual must also demonstrate high energy and excellent people skills.
Wages are per trip. Pay ranges from $100-180 per day.


What is required? Due to insurance restrictions all drives must be at least 23 years of age and have or obtain a California Class B Commercial Drivers license with Passenger Endorsements (we will train the right candidate for drivers license), clean driving record, great communication skills, and the ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certificates. A minimum 4-month commitment is required.
